Taking a beautiful collaboration and turning into a club-fuelled track is never a simple thing to do, but here we have it with Danny Dearden & Bobby Harvey’s “Us 4 Life”. The original is one of our all-time favourite Danny Dearden songs, yet we barely recognised it the first time we heard this new version, Bobby Harvey has done an amazing job with the song. This release follows up Bobby Harvey’s “Set It Off” and Danny Dearden’s feature on Mark Villa’s track “I Got U”.

Bobby Harvey is a British producer and DJ having established himself in the house and techno world. He started DJing at the age of 16 and he has been building his expertise in his field which has allowed him to shine on a variety of popular remixes and solo tracks. This isn’t the first time that he has transformed a Danny Dearden track, he previously remixed the track “Take On The World” that featured The Holografik. If this track is anything to go by, Bobby Harvey will become a name we’ll hear more from.

As for Danny Dearden, he is a singer-songwriter, who was a contestant on the 11th series of The X Factor, where he made it to the Judges’ Houses stage. Since then, he has been gigging, writing, and releasing. He has taken leaps in his music career, lately, as he managed to feature on Michael Calfan’s track “It’s Wrong“; it is currently his most-streamed single, as it has amassed over 2 million streams on Spotify, with his recent collaboration with Erlandsson “Different Kind Of Love”, his feature on David Hopperman’s “Not Giving Up On You”, his feature on “One Love” by Diviners & ENV and his track “Take On The World” featuring The Holografik coming in second, third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. He has been in the studio writing with NXTGEN and will.i.am, and he has a lot of exciting new music on its way – which we cannot wait for.

According to Spotify, this song has been written by Daniel Robert Dearden and Si Hulbert. The beat is extremely different from the original track, which featured Kyra Lily. The opening starts full of house beats which easily makes the listener know that this deserves to not only be played on a dancefloor but also would be perfect for a party playlist. Danny Dearden’s voice kicks in next and he sounds on-point although his vocal has been played with to mix into the track. The backing track progresses giving us ’00’s European club remix vibes. The track includes a piano beat that has us thinking about Eric Prydz “Pjanoo”. It’s impossible not to like this version of this song.
